Veterans Canada is the fastest growing and largest on-line veterans organization in Canada.
Working with active, released and retired members from their branch of Canada's uniformed services in defence, security, enforcement and emergency health services, we offer a Veteran Community within a supportive on-line environment.
The Veteran Community provides a meeting place to re-connect with old friends and even make some new ones. Veterans Canada was founded September 2006 and we are proud and honoured to provide a Veteran Community for the veterans of Canada. These courageous men and women who have served our country in the name of peace, security, safety and freedom.
Veterans Canada also provides a Veteran Directory of listings from the business community to help make the pay of a veteran stretch a bit further. Veteran Community
There is an overwhelming number of options to belong to social networks and participate in on-line communities. You hear a lot about Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter, and even LinkedIn Groups; but veterans now have another option when looking to join an on-line community. The Veterans Canada - Veteran Community invites active, released and retired members from their branch of Canada's uniformed services in defence, security, enforcement and emergency health services to join their very own private social network on the internet called the Veteran Community. What is the Veterans Community? Veterans Canada has now reached 7200 registered users in their private on-line social network that allows any active, released and retired members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Canadian Forces, Police Officers, Correctional Services, Firefighters, Coast Guard, Paramedics and Peace Officers to create their own social network page. Veterans Canada developed the Veterans Community with sections for videos, photos, chat, music, groups, events, and blogs. Veteran members of this community have their very own profile page and, can make friends, send them messages, get email notifications, update status, and install apps — basically anything you'd expect from a modern social network. In the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community members can connect or re-connect with old friends and buddies. Get feedback for something thats on your mind, or just keep up to the news that focuses on issues important to our members. Become part of the discussions and immediately have your say on concerns and issues within our community. The content in the Veteran Community is available in Canada's official languages through Google translate; but members are encouraged to post their thoughts in either French or English. This is a great platform to create a comfortable place for you and your buddies to share and re-connect. Elgibility
To be eligible for membership with Veterans Canada you must have served in uniform with one of the following branches of service.
Any active, released and retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Canadian Armed Forces, Corrections Services Canada, Canadian Firefighter, Canadian Coast Guard, Canadian Paramedic and Canadian Peace Officer .
You must have met the requirements listed below to be considered by Veterans Canada to be a Veteran of your branch of service and to be eligible as a member of our Veterans Community. Members have access to all our websites, discounts and and privileges.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police - Any active, released and retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer, non-commissioned officer or constable who is of irreproachable character and who has served in uniform is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Canadian Armed Forces - Any active, released and retired member of the Canadian Forces recognized of good service in the Canadian Forces who is of irreproachable character and who has served in uniform is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Police Officer - Any active, released and retired Police Officer of any recognized Canadian Police Force who have served in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Corrections Services Canada - Any active, released and retired member of Canadian Correctional Service who have served in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct, industry and efficiency and in a capacity which has brought the recipient into contact with offenders in the regular performance of duties is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Firefighter - Any active, released and retired member of a recognized Canadian fire service who have served in the performance of duties involving potential risks, and were employed by a recognized fire services include Canadian fire departments, fire marshals’ offices, fire commissioners’ offices and the Canadian Forces fire services is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Canadian Coast Guard - Any active, released and retired member of the Canadian Coast Guard with an approved occupational group who have performed their duties in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct and potential risk; is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Paramedic - Any active, released and retired member of any Canadian Emergency Medical Services in the provision of pre-hospital emergency medical services to the public, who have performed their duties in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct and potential risk; is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
Peace Officer - Any active, released and retired member of any recognized Canadian Government appointment as peace officers who have performed their duties in an exemplary manner, characterized by good conduct and potential risk; is eligible as a member of the Veterans Canada - Veterans Community.
